ABOUT THIS MONTH’S MEETING

We are pleased to welcome Life and Leadership Development Coach Tamarra Causley Robinson who will give one of our most important presentations titled: “How to Deal with Impact of Job Loss on Family/Relationships”.

When job loss occurs, one of the first things we think to do is to triage the situation: create a new resume, update our LinkedIn profile and hit the job boards. This discussion will focus solely on steps we can take to take better care of ourselves during this time of transition, and how to increase the awareness around how to preserve and potentially strengthen our relationship at home.

We generally meet the third Saturday of the month. Like other organizations, we know the importance of our meetings and are working to bring them to you during COVID. We anticipate that we will have our remaining 2020 meetings, but cannot yet confirm when we will start meet in person again. Do mark your calendars, and we’ll keep you posted:  Aug 15 – Sept 19 – Oct 17 – Nov 21 – Dec 19.

ABOUT Tamarra Causley Robinson

Tamarra Causley Robinson, Founder of TCR Coaching & Consulting, is a Certified Personal and Executive Leadership Development Coach, Certified Mentor Coach, Consultant, and Motivational Speaker.

Tamarra has 25+ years of corporate experience as a Leader of large teams of People and Projects in the Information Technology industry. Her love and concern for developing people created opportunities in HR which led her to be a Diversity Leader, Executive Leadership Coach for emerging Global leaders, and Personal Development Coach for Senior Associate staff at the world’s largest professional services firm.

Since 2015, Tamarra has been providing Executive and Leadership Development coaching within organizations and for individuals looking for sustainable personal and professional growth. She serves as a Certified Mentor Coach assisting coaches gain their ICF credentialing. Her heart’s work though, is focused on the growth and development of inner-city youth in New Jersey. “Lift as we Climb” is a foundational mindset she carries, instilling hope, belief, and unwavering encouragement for youth to embrace their uniqueness while utilizing their natural talents and abilities to be leaders for themselves and in their community.

In her free time, Tamarra is an avid reader, music enthusiast, who loves her family & friends as much as she enjoys a relaxing day at the beach. Tamarra is an active member of Gamma Phi Delta Sorority, Incorporated; a Business and Professional Women’s Sorority and a long-time member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated; an internationally established organization. Both are focused on empowerment of women, scholarship, and fostering sisterhood everywhere in the world. Through both organizations, she enjoys providing the gift of time, mentorship, service, leadership, and scholarship to underserved youth and their communities.

 

ABOUT Career Support Group (CSG)

We are where job search and career management come together. For 10+ years, the Career Support Group (CSG) at St. Gregory the Great Church in Hamilton Square, NJ, has provided a safe space for participants to learn, network, and help one another.

Monthly meetings feature different career experts and topics to help you advance in your career or job search. We generally meet on the third Saturday each month from 8:30am – 10:30am. Meetings are geared towards professionals and are open to the public. No cost to participate. All are welcome!

Participants include those seeking new job positions, wanting to advance in their careers, considering a career change, re-entering the labor market, recently graduated, and those who want to stay abreast of current trends or are paying it forward.
